Our Vision

Our Philosophy

The early years, up to age seven, are crucial for a child’s growth and individual development. At SmileOn, we create a clean, cozy, and supportive environment where children feel safe and valued. Our goal is to provide delicious, healthy food and foster a community where children receive the encouragement and support they need to build friendships and develop their unique talents.

We are committed to forward-thinking education. At SmileOn, we believe that to change the world for the better, we must start with early education. We teach children to be tolerant, creative, kind, and caring. We emphasise the importance of individuality while fostering a sense of equality, laying the foundation for a better future.

Mission Statement

At SmileOn, our mission is to cultivate a nurturing environment that goes beyond conventional childcare. We strive to be a beacon of inspiration, fostering the intellectual and emotional growth of every child in our care. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, SmileOn aims to be the preferred choice for all parents who seek a harmonious blend of premier early childhood education and a supportive community for their little ones.

Children will also be stronger communicators and self-assured as learners owing to the carefully planned timetable they follow. Drama, music, French, Mandarin, sport, and dance have been interwoven into the schedule allowing pupils to benefit from the rich specialist curriculum on offer across the nursery.

At SmileOn, we believe that each child should be encouraged to develop their interests through an educational plan that is tailored to their individual needs and passion for learning. Our family-focused approach ensures that every child’s developmental journey is nurtured with care and attention.

Join us at SmileOn Nursery, where we provide a nurturing, educational, and supportive environment for your child’s early years.

Our teaching takes into account the whole child…

At SmileOn, our Teachers are highly qualified and experienced.  The qualifications vary and are as follows:

Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Bachelor of Education, NNEB, Early Years Educator, NVQ Level 3, Level 3 and 5 in Management of Early Years or an Overseas Diploma (equivalent or higher).

SmileOn encourages their staff to continue with their Professional Development and sponsors training courses.

All our staff have been very closely vetted by SmileOn and references taken for the security and the welfare of your child.  All have had Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and they all complete a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Course whilst at SmileOn.

Continuity of Care

SmileOn does not run a shift worker system.  All our staff are employed on either a full-time or part-time basis so your child will have the continuity of the same teacher throughout the week, unless they do a mixture of sessions.  If a teacher is unwell or unable to come to work, a member of our own team (cover teacher) will take their place.
